District Sales Manager – Remote
Seattle, WA
80% local travel required.
The Job
Achieve annual operating plan by working with distributors to increase route averages and recruit new distributors into the territory. Conduct FEMs (Field Excellence Meetings) every 60 days (six times a year), including lifting more than 10 pounds of product or totes to showcase to customers. Conduct effective work‑withs (truck ride‑along) 3‑4 days per week to coach and support distributors in the territory. Attract and retain distributors in the Mac Tools business. Conduct new franchisee training (2‑week ride‑along) for new distributors, including setting up new starter trucks, pushing and pulling product and toolboxes, and revisiting as directed by the Regional Manager and Regional Business Analyst. Conduct Field Excellence Meetings monthly with the entire district. Participate at Student Tech shows. Manage regional credits and adjustments. Perform route surveys for new starts and at the request of the Regional Manager. The Person

Prior experience as a small business owner or in coaching and mentoring small business owners. Minimum of 5 years of route/field sales experience. Minimum of 2 years of management experience directing multiple field/route sales professionals. Willingness to travel up to 80% within the specified sales territory and potentially outside of territory. May need to travel up to two weeks at a time. Must be able to lift more than 10 pounds, including bending, twisting, and pushing. The Details
The base pay range for this position in Washington is $75,800 – $106,000 per year. Pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign‑on payment may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
