Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (firm)
About the Role We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented
Customer Service Representative
to join our team. In this role, you will provide exceptional support to our sales and operations teams while building strong relationships with internal and external customers. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong computer skills, a sense of urgency, and a passion for delivering superior customer service.
What You'll Do
Partner with the Outside Sales team to provide excellent service to your territory.
Build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external customers.
Manage the complete order process, from quote to cash.
Investigate and resolve customer discrepancies and material return requests.
Collaborate with Planning and Manufacturing to manage backorders and lead‑time inquiries.
Resolve price discrepancies identified at the time of order.
Respond to inquiries via phone and email, working across departments to facilitate resolutions.
Use Salesforce CRM to track and respond to customer requests.
What You Bring
Bachelor’s degree preferred; 3+ years of customer service experience required, manufacturing environment experience a plus.
Proven experience in high‑volume, fast‑paced customer service settings, including order entry, order management, and price quote generation.
Excellent communication skills with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
Strong multitasking, critical thinking, and organizational skills to manage shifting priorities.
Collaborative mindset to work effectively across departments.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Salesforce and Infor M3 ERP preferred.
