About the Role We are seeking an experienced
Director of Pharmacy
to lead and oversee all pharmacy operations within a dynamic acute care setting. This leadership role is responsible for driving clinical excellence, operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and team development.
Key Responsibilities Lead and manage all pharmacy department operations Develop and implement departmental goals, policies, and procedures Ensure compliance with clinical, legal, and regulatory standards (HIPAA, audits, etc.) Oversee medication safety, quality control, and patient care delivery Manage staffing, hiring, training, performance evaluations, and team development Prepare and manage departmental budgets and financial performance Drive process improvements and integrate evidence-based practices Coordinate internal and external audits Maintain high standards of service delivery and patient outcomes
Required Qualifications Active
Utah Pharmacist License
(or ability to obtain prior to start) Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy (PharmD preferred) Prior
acute care experience in a pharmacy setting Proven leadership and team management experience
Preferred Qualifications Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) Experience in pharmacy leadership roles
Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary: $146,900 – $198,000 $20,000 sign-on bonus Relocation assistance (partial) Full-time, exempt role Comprehensive benefits package
