Job Description Cory-Rawson Local Schools
Athletic Director 7-12 – Part Time for the 2026-2027 school year.
The Athletic Director is responsible for managing all aspects of the district’s interscholastic athletic program for grades 7–12. This position ensures compliance and regulations are met, while promoting a positive and educational-based athletic environment.
Essential Duties
Ensure coaches are trained in emergency procedures.
Positively promote participation at all levels of athletic programs.
Ensure all rules and regulations with OHSAA are met.
Manage all coach/volunteer Pupil Activity Permit efforts to ensure compliance.
Coordinate the hiring of coaches/volunteers in collaboration with the superintendent.
Count gate receipts and deposits.
Collaborate with school staff on student eligibility.
Conduct/attend meetings with coaches/booster organizations.
Manage all aspects of ticket sales.
Maintain current and organized accurate records.
Demonstrated ability to mediate problems, issues and concerns with all stakeholders.
Issue contracts and compensation for officials (e.g., rescheduled games).
Schedule/coordinate the use of athletic facilities in conjunction with other organizations.
Input all athletic events into the master calendar and request transportation accordingly.
Order, distribute, and maintain all uniforms in grades 7–12.
Present awards and ensure recognition programs comply with district standards.
Supervise control and storage of all athletic equipment.
Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements
Qualifications:
Meet qualifications determined by school administration and the Ohio Revised Code.
Knowledge in the area of budget and finance.
Coaching experience at the high school level (3-5 years).
Demonstrated ability to be an effective leader.
Possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
Obtain Pupil Activity Permit.
