Job Summary
The Graphic Designer I will play a critical role in supporting the university’s enrollment goals by creating visually compelling designs that engage prospective students and strengthen UTA’s brand presence. This position will develop and execute creative concepts for print and digital media, ensuring all materials reflect the university’s visual identity and resonate with target audiences. This role directly supports UTA’s mission by creating designs that inspire and inform prospective students, contributing to enrollment success and enhancing UTA’s reputation as a great place to learn and work.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Collaborate with SECM leadership to conceptualize and produce design solutions that align with enrollment objectives and UTA’s branding standards.
Design and deliver creative assets for multi-channel marketing campaigns, including social media graphics, website visuals, environmental graphics, publications, and advertisements.
Enhance and manipulate images for optimal quality and impact across various platforms.
Develop reusable design templates to support campus partners in student recruitment efforts.
Serve as a resource and mentor for student interns working on design projects.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, marketing, advertising, communications, or a related field.
One (1) year of experience in marketing and/or processes including writing, designing, and managing marketing//communication projects or an equivalent mix of education and relevant experience in similar role.
Preferred Qualifications
Three (3) years of experience in admissions, enrollment management and/or marketing.
Experience with the recruitment of prospective students.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Proficiency in industry-standard design software (Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
Familiarity with recruitment-focused design strategies and audience engagement.
Experience and knowledge with motion graphics, video editing, or UX/UI design is a plus.

Repetitive use of a keyboard at a workstation.
