We are looking for a

Commercial Sales Specialist , for our client a leading international company within the

Fast‑Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG)

sector, with end‑to‑end responsibility for a defined set of strategic markets. The position carries full ownership of commercial performance, customer development and market growth mainly across the Netherlands and other core Northern European markets.

The role is designed for an experienced FMCG commercial professional who operates with autonomy, sound judgment and a strong sense of ownership, and who is comfortable taking responsibility for both commercial strategy and execution in mature, highly competitive markets.

Responsibilities You will be accountable for the commercial development of your perimeter within the FMCG environment, combining new business development with the structured growth of existing customers. Your responsibilities include:

Full ownership of FMCG commercial performance across the territory.

Development of new customer relationships alongside the expansion of established accounts within modern retail and/or distribution environments.

Management of senior client stakeholders and decision‑makers in complex FMCG retail ecosystems.

Identification and prioritisation of growth opportunities based on market, customer and field insights.

Leadership of commercial negotiations, annual agreements and contractual discussions.

Close collaboration with internal functions (marketing, supply chain, finance) in a cross‑functional, non‑hierarchical setup.

Profile

+ 6 years of experience in senior commercial, sales or business development roles within FMCG

Proven ability to develop markets, territories or complex customer portfolios in consumer goods

Strong negotiation capability and commercial judgment

Structured, autonomous and outcome‑oriented working style

Experience operating in international environments

Fluency in English and Dutch is required; German is a strong advantage
