Recruitment Specialist
The Recruitment Specialist is responsible for managing the full-cycle recruitment process across the company, ensuring the organization attracts, selects, and hires high-quality talent in a timely and cost-effective manner. This role partners closely with hiring managers and other members of the HR team to understand staffing needs, develop candidate pipelines, and deliver a consistent and positive candidate experience. The Recruitment Specialist leads sourcing efforts, screens and evaluates candidates, assists with interviews, and supports hiring decisions while maintaining compliance with company policies and employment laws. This position also tracks recruiting metrics and continuously improves recruiting strategies to meet workforce demands across all locations. This role plays a critical part in supporting business operations by ensuring positions are filled efficiently with candidates who align with the company's culture and performance expectations. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met. Job Function
Independently develop, facilitate, and implement all phases of the recruitment process. Collaborate with department managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria. Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization. Assists with job posting and advertisement processes. Review applications, conduct initial candidate assessments via phone interviews, and present qualified candidates to hiring managers for consideration. Management of candidate pipeline in Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and other tools. Ensure that ATS and other recruitment tools are accurate and up to date, by performing monthly and quarterly audits of open and closed positions. Provide reporting to management of open and closed positions. Collaborate with the hiring manager and/or other human resource staff during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, start dates, and other pertinent details. Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies. Attends and participates in college job fairs and recruiting sessions. Responsible for managing relationships with temp and placement agencies utilized by the Corporate and Norcross locations. Required Skills
Minimum of 5 years of full-cycle recruitment required. High school diploma/GED required. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field required. SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred. Prior experience with iCIMS Applicant Tracking System preferred. Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment, required. Experience with DOT driver recruiting preferred. Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative, required. Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively required. Ability to exercise discretion when handling sensitive/confidential employment information required. Understanding of broad concepts and principles pertinent to Human Resources management operations required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills required. Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics required. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines required. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills required. Ability to make sound decisions based on a combination of factors including analysis, knowledge and experience, and judgment required. Experience in a team-oriented HR function across multiple disciplines required. Strong computer proficiency and knowledge of Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), as well as general HR software platforms and internet-based search engines required.
