ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL/ATHLETIC DIRECTOR
QUALIFICATIONS: Possession of a valid New Jersey Principal Certificate or eligibility is required. Candidates should demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication, technology, and organizational skills. Prior experience in secondary school teaching and/or administration is necessary. Experience in leadership roles such as athletic director, supervisor, or Head Coach is highly preferred.
JOB GOAL: To support the Principal in delivering leadership and guidance concerning student discipline, instruction, supervision, evaluation, and the comprehensive administration of the school. To offer robust vision, leadership, and guidance to the district's athletic program.
RESPONSIBILITIES: This role encompasses duties such as staff supervision and coordination, student discipline, instructional leadership, district compliance, community outreach, program planning, and reporting. Additionally, it involves overseeing the organization of all school athletic events to ensure that all activities and engagements align with the policies of the School District, NJSIAA Rules and Regulations, as well as the local leagues and conferences in which the team participates.
The letter of interest should be addressed to Tricia Lemma, Principal, Wildwood Middle/High School, and include a complete professional and educational resume and a copy of a valid New Jersey Department of Education certificate with appropriate endorsement and authorization.
COMPENSATION/BENEFITS: Salary Range: $90,000-$100,000 per year Benefit Package:Medical / Dental / Vision, Personal, Vacation and Sick Time
