Regional Sales Manager (Outside Sales – Hunter)

Full-Time | Exempt

Base Salary: $75,000 – $110,000 + Commission (OTE provided upon request)

Travel: 75–100% (field-based role)

About the Role Milestone is seeking a

driven, results-oriented Regional Sales Manager

to lead new business development across the Los Angeles market. This is a true

outside sales “hunter” role , focused on identifying, pursuing, and closing new opportunities while building long-term customer relationships.

You’ll play a critical role in expanding market presence, generating new logos, and contributing directly to revenue growth. This position is ideal for a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, field-based environment and enjoys being in front of customers.

What You’ll Do

Generate new chassis sales revenue within your assigned region

Prospect, cold call, and develop new business opportunities

Build and expand relationships with customers and key stakeholders

Manage and grow a regional customer portfolio

Maintain accurate and consistent activity tracking in CRM

Stay informed on market trends to position competitive solutions

Represent Milestone at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities

Contribute to company growth initiatives and exceed sales targets

What We’re Looking For

5+ years of sales or business development experience in the

transportation industry

Proven ability to generate new business and close deals

Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills

Highly self-motivated with the ability to work independently

Willingness and ability to travel extensively (75–100%)

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)

Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field (or equivalent experience)

Authorized to work in the United States

Preferred Experience

Direct experience in

intermodal or chassis leasing industry
