
Print Lead

As part of the Print Production department, the Print Lead supports daily production operations by operating digital presses and assisting with inserting equipment. This role works closely with the Senior Print Lead to ensure jobs are produced accurately, efficiently, and on schedule.
Responsibilities
Preparing and executing jobs for print production by operating digital production presses, monitoring print quality and consistency, and ensuring they are completed accurately and on schedule
Assisting with and supporting the setup of inserting equipment operations
Troubleshooting problems that occur during the job submission, printing, or finishing processes, including basic equipment issues
Working closely with the Senior Print Lead to execute the daily production priorities
Coordinating with the Project Coordinator to ensure jobs are produced correctly and on a timely basis
Performing quality control checks by verifying job specifications before production and identifying production issues promptly
Finishing, organizing, and wrapping completed work for delivery to the customer or the next department
Keeping the area stocked with necessary supplies, and then notifying administration if supplies need to be reordered
Assisting with other prepress and print duties as needed
Ideal Qualifications
Experience in the print production industry preferred
Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
Willingness to learn inserting and mail production equipment
Requirements
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform tasks that require reaching, kneeling, bending, and twisting
Valid Driver’s License
Able to work extended hours and/or weekends depending on the deadline or workload
