The Role

The Director of Product – Payments owns the strategy, economics, and regulatory integrity of our payment platform.

This role sits at the intersection of:

  • Acquiring & sponsor bank relationships
  • Financial performance & margin optimization
  • Network and regulatory compliance
  • Repayment outcomes & recovery performance
  • Emerging payment rail innovation

You’ll be accountable for how money moves, what it costs, how it performs, and how it scales safely across regulated repayment use cases.

This is a senior leadership role with strategic authority and hands‑on ownership.

What You’ll Own Payment Economics & Margin Performance

  • TPV growth and Net Revenue % across all rails
  • Payment P&L by rail, use case, and vertical
  • Interchange optimization and routing strategy
  • Least‑cost routing across Card, PIN debit, ACH, RTP, FedNow, and emerging rails
  • Processor and sponsor bank commercial relationships
  • Payment acceptance across BHPH, collections, and property management
  • Flows that improve cure rates, reinstatements, and recovery outcomes
  • Reduced chargebacks, ACH returns, and dispute exposure
  • Product decisions aligned with consumer protection and regulatory boundaries
  • Sponsor bank expectations and audit readiness
  • Product guardrails that scale responsibly
  • Close partnership with Risk & Compliance
  • Evaluation and scaling of RTP, FedNow, and alternative payment methods
  • Commercial and compliance‑driven rollout of new rails
  • Architecture built for multi‑vertical expansion
