Collections Specialist
CoWorx Staffing Services is currently hiring a qualified Collections Specialist to join our team in the Kennesaw, GA area! Supporting the Retail Servicing Department is the responsibility of the Collections Specialist. Customers, dealers, and internal departments will all be directly involved in this role. The candidate will manage overdue accounts and ensures timely payments by contacting clients, negotiating payment plans, and resolving billing disputes. They maintain accurate, up-to-date records, analyze aging reports, and adhere to regulatory compliance, working to recover outstanding debt while preserving positive customer relationships. Initiate inbound and outbound calls/emails to customers regarding delinquent accounts. Develop and suggest reasonable repayment plans to settle outstanding balances. Update account statuses in the system, process payments, and manage account reconciliations. Investigate billing discrepancies and work with other departments to resolve disputes. Generate reports on collection progress and adhere strictly to legal, ethical, and industry-specific regulations. Excellent customer service skills. Good verbal and written communication skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy, organized, strong team player. Excellent time management. Ability to multitask and prioritize. Conflict resolution, problem-solving and negotiation skills. Must have a sense of urgency. Positive and proactive attitude. Demonstrate ability to use good judgment in taking initiative while asking for direction or clarification and consulting others.
