MotorcycleIndustryJobs.com, Bedford, TX, United States

Sales Manager — Lucky Penny Cycles | Dallas/Fort Worth, TX Are you a proven sales leader with a passion for powersports and a knack for closing deals in the digital age? Lucky Penny Cycles — one of the DFW area’s premier pre‑owned motorcycle dealerships — is looking for a driven, experienced Sales Manager to lead our team and take our dealership to the next level.

About Lucky Penny Cycles At Lucky Penny Cycles, we live and breathe motorcycles. We’re not a big-box operation — we’re a tight-knit, passionate team that genuinely loves what we sell. While we love great showroom energy, the reality of today’s market is that most of our deals start online — and we need a leader who thrives in that environment. With growth opportunities spanning seven stores, joining Lucky Penny isn’t just a job, it’s a career move with real upward trajectory.

The Role As Sales Manager, you’ll be the engine behind our sales operation — both on the floor and online. You’ll lead, coach, and inspire a team of four to five sales professionals while driving revenue and delivering an exceptional customer experience from first click to final signature. Our General Manager takes the lead on inventory acquisition, and you’ll play a key supporting role — making your experience in sourcing and evaluating pre‑owned units a real asset to the team.

What You’ll Do

Lead, mentor, and develop a high‑performing sales team of 4–5 staff

Own and exceed monthly sales targets and revenue goals

Manage and optimize the full digital lead pipeline — from online inquiry through close

Coach the team on phone selling, text, and email follow‑up best practices to maximize conversion

Oversee and contribute to online listings, digital marketing efforts, and marketplace presence (Cycle Trader, Facebook Marketplace, website inventory, etc.)

Ensure fast, professional, and consistent lead response and follow‑up across all channels

Manage daily operations within MotoMate CRM — tracking leads, follow‑up cadences, and team activity

Work within Talon DMS for deal processing, inventory management, and reporting

Support the GM in inventory acquisition — including sourcing, evaluating, and pricing pre‑owned units

Coordinate F&I processes, including working with multiple lending partners to structure and close deals

Recruit, hire, and train new sales team members

Foster a positive, energetic, and accountable team culture

What You Bring

Harley‑Davidson dealership or powersports industry experience — strongly preferred

A valid motorcycle license/endorsement

A proven track record in sales, with demonstrated ability to hit and exceed goals

Digital sales fluency — you understand that today’s buyer does their research online first, and you know how to engage, nurture, and close them before they ever walk through the door

Strong phone sales skills — comfortable and confident selling, negotiating, and building rapport over the phone

Experience managing online lead flow, CRM follow‑up cadences, and digital marketing channels

Hands‑on experience with inventory acquisition — sourcing, evaluating, and pricing pre‑owned units is a strong differentiator for this role

Experience working with multiple lending partners, including familiarity with Eaglemark (Harley‑Davidson Financial Services) — a significant plus

Proficiency with Talon DMS and/or MotoMate CRM — prior experience is a strong plus; willingness to master both is a must

Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach and motivate a team

Excellent communication and customer relationship skills

What We Offer

Competitive base salary + commission + performance bonuses

Full benefits package

Real growth opportunities — we have seven stores and promote from within

A fun, passionate work environment where motorcycles aren’t just inventory — they’re a lifestyle

Ready to Ride? If you’re a motivated sales leader who knows how to win both online and on the showroom floor — and you’re ready to grow with a company that’s as passionate about motorcycles as you are — we want to hear from you.
