Salesforce Technical Lead
The Momba Group, Chicago, IL, United States
Overview
Join to apply for the Salesforce Technical Lead role at The Momba Group .
You'll be the technical owner of our Salesforce ecosystem—pairing hands-on engineering with architectural decision-making and team leadership. You'll translate business goals into scalable designs, guide developers day-to-day, and ensure we ship high-quality solutions on a predictable cadence. The stack includes Financial Services Cloud, Service Cloud, Omni-Channel, and a growing set of integrations.
What you'll do
- Own end-to-end solution design across FSC, Service Cloud, and Omni-Channel—data model, security, automation, UX, and integrations.
- Build and review high-quality code (Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows) and champion platform-first, declarative-where-possible designs.
- Lead technical discovery with product, BA, and business stakeholders; turn requirements into well-documented, testable architectures.
- Establish and enforce engineering standards (naming, patterns, test coverage, performance, governor-limit awareness).
- Design and implement integration patterns (REST/SOAP APIs, Platform Events, Change Data Capture, external services) to synchronize Salesforce with upstream/downstream systems.
- Run code and design reviews; mentor developers and promote a culture of quality, security, and continuous improvement.
- Drive Agile ceremonies with the delivery team—refinement, planning, demos, and retrospectives—ensuring realistic scope and clear acceptance criteria.
- Stand up and maintain CI/CD pipelines (SFDX + Git; e.g., Copado/Gearset) including automated validation, packaging, and deploys across environments.
- Troubleshoot complex issues across profiles/sharing, flows, LWC/Apex, and integrations; support QA/UAT and production releases.
- Track platform releases and industry best practices; propose pragmatic adoption plans that deliver measurable value.
What you'll bring
- 7+ years building on Salesforce; 3+ years in a lead/architect capacity guiding other developers.
- Deep knowledge of Financial Services Cloud and Service Cloud (case management, Omni-Channel routing, knowledge, entitlements).
- Strong Apex/LWC expertise, including test-driven development (Apex tests, Jest for LWC) and performance tuning within governor limits.
- Proven experience with enterprise integrations and API lifecycle management; familiarity with MuleSoft or similar is a plus.
- Solid grasp of data modeling, role hierarchy, sharing rules, and platform security/compliance.
- Hands-on DevOps with SFDX, scratch orgs, Git branching strategies, and CI/CD tools (Copado, Gearset, or equivalent).
- Comfortable leading technical workshops and explaining tradeoffs to both engineers and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience working in Scrum/Kanban environments with Jira/Azure DevOps (backlog hygiene, story slicing, Definition of Done/Ready).
Nice to have
- Salesforce certifications (e.g., Platform Developer II, Application Architect, System/Technical Architect, Service Cloud Consultant, Financial Services Cloud).
- Experience with knowledge-centered service, digital channels/messaging, and call center telemetry.
- Background in data migration (Data Loader, Bulk API, ETL tools) and data quality governance.
