Inside Sales / Customer Service Coordinator
Location: Carson, CA Pay: $50-$55k Overview: Our client, is seeking an Inside Sales / Customer Service Coordinator. This role supports Sales Managers with all pre- and post-sales activities, maintaining strong communication with existing accounts, and ensuring accurate order management from start to finish. The ideal candidate thrives in a close-knit environment where reliability, punctuality, and teamwork are essential. Key Responsibilities: Support Sales Managers with all pre-sales activities, including maintaining contact databases and managing sample requests Handle all after-sales operational activities, including order entry and processing Monitor order timelines, adjust shipment dates, and track "due orders" to avoid delays Follow up on "pending approval" orders to ensure timely release by Purchasing Provide customer support with urgency, accuracy, and strong problem-solving Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve issues and maintain customer satisfaction Generate artwork requests for customized orders during both sampling and order phases Process return orders and ensure all departments are informed Conduct overdue customer follow-up per company procedures Retrieve sales documentation for regulatory/export requirements Archive files per Sales Manager directives Support Sales Managers and New Business Development on ongoing projects Perform additional duties as assigned Requirements: 2+ years of customer service or inside sales experience Strong Excel skills (required) Experience with MS Office and ERP/database systems Manufacturing, distribution, packaging, or cosmetics industry experience strongly preferred Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail Reliable, punctual, and highly accountablecritical in a small office environment Flexible, adaptable, and able to multitask in a fast-paced setting Excellent problem-solving and listening skills Spanish language skills strongly preferred (warehouse is primarily Spanish-speaking) Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled To read our Candidate Privacy Information Statement, which explains how we will use your information, please navigate to https://www.lhh.com/us/en/candidate-privacy The Company will consider qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records in accordance with federal, state, and local laws and/or security clearance requirements, including, as applicable: The California Fair Chance Act Los Angeles City Fair Chance Ordinance Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance for Employers San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance Massachusetts Candidates Only: It is unlawful in Massachusetts to require or administer a lie detector test as a condition of employment or continued employment.
