Director Supply Chain Management

CooperDouglas has partnered with a privately held consumer products company to identify a Director of Supply Chain. Success in this role requires strong ownership of peak season planning, cross functional leadership, and the ability to operate with urgency in a high demand retail cycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Own end to end supply chain operations across planning, logistics, and distribution
• Lead S&OP and demand planning with a heavy focus on forecast accuracy and peak season execution
• Manage direct import programs alongside domestic distribution and 3PL partnerships
• Oversee order management and EDI processes across major retail accounts and ecommerce channels
• Partner closely with leadership, finance, and operations to align inventory, service levels, and working capital
• Build and lead a team of managers and individual contributors while establishing structure and accountability
• Drive improvements across fill rate, lead times, inventory turns, and overall operational performance

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive supply chain leadership experience within consumer products
• Must have experience with both direct import and domestic distribution models
• Strong background supporting major retail customers and navigating high volume order flow
• Proven ability to lead S&OP and execute through peak seasonal demand cycles
• Hands on leadership style with the ability to step in and rebuild a function where needed
• Comfort operating in an on site environment with direct exposure to executive leadership

Compensation

Targeting around $200K-225K + Bonus + Excellent Benefit
