Practice Director , you will drive operational and clinical excellence across
four Family Medicine practices , ensuring high-quality, accessible care while leading teams that serve as the frontline of community health.

Provide
executive-level oversight
of operations across multiple
Family Medicine practices
Champion
patient-centered primary care , access, and continuity of care
Lead and develop
practice managers and interdisciplinary care teams
Drive
quality metrics, value-based care initiatives, and population health outcomes
Optimize workflows to support
preventive care, chronic disease management, and same-day access
Partner with senior leadership on
strategic growth and service expansion in primary care
Ensure compliance with
regulatory standards and best practices in ambulatory Family Medicine
Oversee
budgets, staffing models, and operational performance

Qualifications
Bachelors degree required (Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field)
Masters degree (MBA, MHA, or similar)
strongly preferred
5+ years of progressive healthcare leadership experience , ideally within
Family Medicine or Primary Care
Demonstrated success managing
multi-site ambulatory or primary care practices
Strong knowledge of
value-based care, population health, and quality metrics
Proven leadership in
team development, provider engagement, and operational improvement
Financial acumen including
budgeting, forecasting, and productivity management

This position manages the patient experience at assigned practice(s). Responsible for overall effective performance of practice including management of staff, workflow development, patient schedule management, provider and staff engagement, patient experience, financial performance and billing compliance. Develops practice operational plans and budgets (capital and operations) and implements performance improvement strategies within the practice. This position is responsible for the recruitment, development and supervision of staff. Ability to apply effective communication strategies to solve and facilitate simple and complex situations which enhance the culture and performance of the practice. Performs all duties in a manner which promotes teamwork and reflects the mission and values of Lee Health. Responsible for practices with one site consisting of 11 or more full-time providers; HOPD departments with 5 or more providers; or practices with 3 or more separate locations.
Requirements Education:
Bachelors degree in management or related field required or 5 years experience in a physician office setting. CMPE (Certified Medical Practice Executive) certification preferred.
Experience:
A minimum of 3 years healthcare leadership experience required. 5 years experience in a physician office setting preferred. Knowledge of ambulatory care operations and a background in clinic procedures including schedule management, patient registration, use of electronic health record, patient flow, billing and referrals and authorizations. Experience with creating budgets and communicating financial information to staff and providers required.
