BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Senior Producer – Video, Photo & Event Production
Position Title: Senior Producer – Video, Photo & Event Production
Location: East Boston, MA 02127-Hybrid (3 days onsite / 2 remote)
Date: ASAP
Expected Duration: 6+ Months
Pay Range: $40- $43 /hr on w2
Overview
We are seeking a Senior Producer to support the Strategic Communications and Marketing team. This role will lead end-to-end production of video, photography, and event content, ensuring high-quality creative output aligned with brand and campaign objectives.
This is a hands-on production leadership role combining creative direction, project management, and on-site execution across digital, social, broadcast, and event channels.
Key Responsibilities
Creative Leadership & Production Oversight
- Lead and manage internal and external creative teams including videographers, photographers, editors, and freelancers
- Provide art direction and visual storytelling guidance aligned with brand strategy
- Partner with marketing, brand, and executive stakeholders to define creative requirements and messaging
- Act as the primary liaison for external agencies and production vendors
Production & Project Management
- Oversee full lifecycle: pre-production → production → post-production
- Develop production plans including:
- Scripts, storyboards, shot lists
- Call sheets, schedules, permits, releases
- Manage budgets, timelines, and resource allocation
- Source and manage vendors, freelancers, and production partners
On-Site Production Execution
- Serve as director / line producer on shoots
- Manage logistics: locations, talent, equipment, and crew
- Operate production equipment when needed (lighting, audio, teleprompter)
- Ensure projects are delivered on time and meet quality standards
Post-Production Management
- Guide editing process including pacing, style, and music direction
- Manage review cycles using tools like Frame.io
- Ensure final deliverables meet brand and technical standards
- Maintain archive of all content and production assets
Event Production
- Plan and execute events ranging from small meetings to large-scale activations
- Develop run-of-show documents and production timelines
- Coordinate AV, staging, vendors, and logistics
- Manage on-site operations including attendee coordination
Content & Asset Management
- Maintain centralized library of video/photo assets
- Support airport content systems and digital displays
- Upload and manage social media content (e.g., Sprout Social)
- Source stock and archival assets for ongoing production needs
Required Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Media, Communications, Film Production, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Experience
- 5–10 years of experience in:
- Video production
- Photography
- Event production
- Experience in agency, studio, or in-house creative environments preferred
- Proven track record delivering content across digital, social, and broadcast platforms
Skills & Competencies
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Experience managing cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Proficiency in:
- Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Lightroom)
- Microsoft Office / Google Drive / Mac platforms
- Solid understanding of production equipment and workflows
- Ability to manage budgets, timelines, and multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
