Summary
Under the direct supervision of Delta Sheds Foreman, this position will construct wood storage buildings, chicken houses, metal car ports and garages. Essential Functions

Ability to read building plans and build to specs Ability to use power tools, nail guns and read a tape measure Safe operations of forklift and vehicle Work as a team to lift heavy items Lift and carry lumber and metal sheeting Install metal or shingle roofing Lifting of heavy boxes and metal trims. Clean and maintain equipment and shop area. Apply stain to buildings Competencies

This position has no supervisory responsibility. Work Environment
This position operates year-round in a multiple bay shop with loud power tools. Most work is performed inside the production area, but the buildings are finished or roofed in the outside elements. Physical Demands
This role requires walking and standing on concrete floors, bending over or kneeling for periods of time. Lifting heavy materials, operating power tools including but not limited to nail guns, air compressors and saws. Ascending and descending the roofs of the buildings is required for roof installation. Travel
Some buildings are constructed ‘on-site’, away from the shop. Travel to and from this site may be required, usually in a company vehicle. Required Education And Experience
