Remote## Cash Applications SpecialistRemote, BrazilWe are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical **Cash Applications Specialist** to join our Finance team in São Paulo. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately applying incoming payments, resolving customer account discrepancies, and supporting month-end close activities. Your work will play a key role in maintaining healthy cash flow and ensuring an exceptional customer financial experience.Key Duties:* Process and apply daily customer payments (bank transfers, lockbox, ACH, credit card, etc.) to customer accounts with accuracy and timeliness.* Reconcile customer payments and research unapplied or unidentified cash.* Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies.* Communicate with customers, internal teams, and banking partners regarding payment issues.* Maintain accurate documentation for audit and compliance purposes.* Assist with month-end closing tasks, reporting, and account reconciliations.* Support continuous improvement initiatives for cash application processes and automation.
**Qualifications**
**Required*** Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).* 2+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable or Cash Applications.* Strong analytical and problem‐solving skills.* Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.* Experience working with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, or similar).* High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.* Ability to communicate professionally in **Portuguese** and **English** (intermediate/advanced).
