A national corporation is looking for a
Real Estate Paralegal
to join their team in their corporate office in Denver, CO.
Responsibilities
MUST understand and be able to monitor the entire commercial/corporate real estate process- due diligence review, contracts, closings, post-closings etc.
Handle all developments- mostly retail stores, some oil leases
Draft purchase agreements after compiling information from businesses
Purchasing property- some leases
Letters of intent
Title commitment & survey review
Ability to communicate with whoever is necessary, including engineers, brokers, etc.
Handle Secretary of State and IRS filings
Will monitor some IP work for companies
Qualifications
Experience is more important than education
Looking for AT LEAST 5-10 years of experience in
commercial
real estate at a law firm, corporation, title company, developer company, etc.
Preference for trust/estate experience - will be assisting w/ highly confidential bill, tax returns, etc. for the family that owns the business
Preference for trademark experience
Ability to work fully in-office in DT Denver to start
Ongoing will be able to work 3 days per week in-office and 2 days per week from home
~45-hour work week
Tenure with previous employers
Looking for someone that will be interested in taking on additional responsibility as they master each set of skills
