The Role TimelyCare is seeking a Business Development Representative (K–12 Student Engagement Specialist) with a hunter mentality and passion for building relationships. In this role, you’ll drive top-of-funnel activity in the K–12 market—prospecting, setting and supporting meetings, building awareness, and accelerating pipeline growth. You’ll collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Business Operations, and Business Development to shape how districts experience our solutions and support student well-being.

Location TimelyCare’s primary location is Fort Worth, Texas. This is a remote position, reviewing candidates across the country.

What You’ll Do

Drive top-of-funnel growth by engaging K-12 decision makers and setting, ensuring completion of high-quality discovery meetings, progressing to qualified opportunities.

Implement and continuously refine best-in-class practices for K–12 prospect engagement and meeting conversion.

Think critically and collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Leadership to create, experiment, and scale repeatable playbooks.

Strategically plan and prioritize your territory, tailoring outreach to K–12 segments and buyer personas (e.g., superintendents, HR/Benefits, student services, safety and security heads).

Consistently meet or exceed activity and pipeline generation targets.

Partner with Account Executives to align on target districts, streamline lead qualification, and drive an efficient pipeline.

Performs additional tasks and projects as needed to support the evolving needs of team objectives and company goals.

What You Bring

Proven track record of setting qualified meetings that drive strong attendance and conversion to pipeline.

Experience in K–12, public sector, benefits/HR, or adjacent education markets preferred.

Experience with Salesforce.com, Salesloft, and Gong preferred.

Comfortable engaging across channels—email, video, and phone—with professionalism and presence.

Courageous, confident, and self-driven; you thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Entrepreneurial mindset and excellent verbal communication—clear, confident, and executive-ready.

Strong writing skills—concise, tailored messages that resonate with senior K–12 leaders.

Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Desire to grow into a career in sales.

The salary range for this opportunity is $45,000-$50,000 per year, depending on education and experience. This is the base pay. You will be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to the base pay, to be discussed during the interview process.
