Delaware Valley Paving – Dallas, TX

Position Summary Delaware Valley Paving is expanding into the Dallas, Texas market and is seeking an experienced Account Manager to support and drive growth in this new region.

This role is responsible for generating new business, managing client relationships, and overseeing the full sales cycle—from prospecting and project scoping to bidding and closing work. The Account Manager will play a key role in establishing Delaware Valley Paving’s presence in the Dallas market, making prior industry experience and local market knowledge highly valuable.

The ideal candidate is a motivated, relationship-driven professional with experience in paving, construction, or a related industry, and a proven ability to develop business and close work.

Key Responsibilities Sales Development & Market Growth

Identify and develop new business opportunities throughout the Dallas market

Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified leads

Leverage existing industry relationships and develop new connections with property managers, general contractors, developers, and municipalities

Support the expansion of Delaware Valley Paving’s footprint in a new and growing region

Meet or exceed individual sales and revenue targets

Client Relationship Management

Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned and prospective clients

Build long-term relationships that drive repeat business and customer retention

Deliver a high level of service and responsiveness to client needs

Identify additional service opportunities within existing accounts

Conduct site visits to evaluate project scope, conditions, and client requirements

Develop detailed scopes of work aligned with project goals

Prepare accurate estimates and proposals using company systems and tools

Ensure pricing aligns with company margin expectations

Bidding & Closing

Manage the full bid process from opportunity identification to contract execution

Present proposals and communicate value effectively to clients

Negotiate pricing, scope, and terms to successfully close projects

Maintain consistent follow-up to convert opportunities into awarded work

Project Coordination

Coordinate with operations teams to ensure a seamless transition from sales to execution

Clearly communicate scope, expectations, and client needs

Remain engaged throughout the project lifecycle to ensure client satisfaction

Qualifications

3–7+ years of experience in paving, construction, or a related industry (required)

Proven success in sales, account management, or business development roles

Strong understanding of project scoping, estimating, and bidding processes

Established relationships within the Dallas/Texas construction market (preferred)

Demonstrated ability to close deals and drive revenue growth

Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills

Strong local market awareness and industry knowledge

Relationship-driven with a customer-first mindset

Results-oriented with a competitive drive

Detail-oriented in scoping and estimating

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment
