We are seeking a dedicated Employee Relations Specialist I to provide general administrative support for the Employee Relations function, to include, but not limited to electronic file maintenance, review and processing of designated terminations, completion of standard separation agreements as requested, employee relations intake and assignment/escalation as needed, daily administrative support, and other administrative duties as assigned; assists with and/or responds to Tier 1 employee relations questions; and assists with and/or handles Tier 1 employee relations investigations with appropriate oversight.

Responsibilities:
Utilizing independent judgement, provide strategic advice to managers on workforce matters with mid-level complexity including but not limited to associate development, retention, performance and conduct-related disciplinary action, terminations, and organizational/divisional initiatives with appropriate oversight.
Guide managers in assessing need for and developing teammate-related communications including corrective action and termination documentation with oversight as needed.
Intake human relations questions/ matters/investigations received through various means (including phone, email, and Help Desk tickets) and assign/escalate to relevant Employee Relations team member and/or take lead using independent judgement with appropriate oversight as needed.
Strategize with managers in improving work relationships, resolving teammate concerns, enhancing associate engagement and retention, and fostering compliance with company/division policy and applicable laws. Investigation of teammate grievances with mid-level complexity, identifying and recommending any appropriate action items to include without limitation, enhancements or changes in policies or practices as needed. Partner with HR Relations leadership team and HR Business Partner team in development of any such policies.
Evaluate value of dispute resolution to resolve workplace conflicts and mediate such disputes between teammates and managers as needed.
Assist with and/or respond to Tier 2 associate relations questions and draft severance agreements.
Prepare and finalize employment action and investigation documentation and update within case management system.
Qualifications:
Associate's Degree or equivalent experience required; Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent experience.
1-3 years of experience in Human Resources or Office Administration.
Intermediate Level Microsoft Office Applications with Word/Excel.
Excellent attention to detail, ability to prioritize work and exceptional customer services skills.
Ability to exercise sound judgment.
Paramount sensitivity to and ability to maintain confidentiality.
