Role Description Matchtern is an internship placement platform that pre-trains high school students and places them at startups and growing companies for real work experience. The company is looking for a part-time BDR to own outbound outreach on the company side, building the pipeline of businesses that host Matchtern interns.
Responsibilities Research and identify target companies (startups, small businesses, scaling teams)
Run outbound outreach campaigns via email and LinkedIn
Book introductory calls with founders and hiring managers
Hand off qualified leads and maintain a shared pipeline tracker
Report on outreach activity and results weekly
Details
10-15 hours per week, fully remote
Performance-based compensation with a per-company placement fee
Ideal for someone with outbound sales experience who thrives in a results-driven environment
Qualifications
Prior cold outreach, SDR/BDR, or business development experience
Strong written communication for email and LinkedIn messaging
Self-directed with prior experience. Personable personality
Familiarity with Apollo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or similar outreach tools is a must
