Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP)

Compensation:

$70,000 – $90,000 annually (based on experience and location)

Recruiting Lion Solutions is seeking an experienced and strategic Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) for a client. This role is ideal for an HR professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and brings strong expertise across all core HR functions — including compliance, employee relations, benefits administration, employment law, and payroll oversight.

The HRBP will serve as a trusted advisor to leadership, ensuring HR strategies align with business objectives while maintaining compliance and fostering a positive, high-performing workplace culture. This is a remote position within the United States with occasional travel (up to 10%) to support business operations and leadership initiatives.

What You’ll Do:

Partner with executive leadership and department heads to align HR strategies with business goals

Serve as the primary advisor on employee relations matters, including investigations, conflict resolution, performance management, and corrective action processes

Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations

Maintain and update company policies and employee handbooks in alignment with current labor laws

Oversee and support benefits administration, including open enrollment, vendor management, employee education, and compliance (FMLA, COBRA, ADA, etc.)

Provide payroll oversight in partnership with payroll providers to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely processing

Lead compliance reporting and audits (EEO, workers’ compensation, unemployment claims, etc.)

Support workforce planning, talent management, succession planning, and organizational development initiatives

Advise leadership on compensation strategy, pay equity, and market competitiveness

Drive employee engagement initiatives and promote a positive organizational culture

Support onboarding, offboarding, and employee lifecycle processes

Analyze HR metrics and provide data-driven insights to leadership

Assist with change management initiatives and organizational transitions

What You Bring (Qualifications):

Minimum 5 years of progressive HR experience required; 7+ years preferred

HRIS Management Experience

Strong working knowledge of employment law and multi-state compliance requirements

Demonstrated experience in employee relations, investigations, and performance management

Experience overseeing or partnering closely with payroll and benefits administration. Experience with ADP preferred.

Proven ability to work independently in a remote environment

Strong business acumen and ability to influence leadership

Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and interpersonal skills

High level of discretion and professionalism when handling confidential matters

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred

HR certification (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR) preferred but not required

Ability to travel up to 10% as needed
