Horizontal Relationship Manager

Responsibilities

Lead strategic engagement as the primary liaison between Enterprise Process Management (EPM) and the Process Management community.

Shape governance and risk oversight, providing subject matter expertise on process lifecycle management, compliance, and risk mitigation.

Drive operational excellence by overseeing portfolio health and performance metrics.

Enable transformation through automation and modernization initiatives.

Prepare and deliver strategic updates for senior leadership forums and risk committees.

Oversee end-to-end tracking of EPM and Global Tech (GT) deliverables.

Manage Core Technology Infrastructure's Single Process Inventory (SPI) ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Participate in all Horizontal routines, representing the voice of the line of business (LOB).

Review process dashboards and analytics for improvement opportunities.

Foster strong partnerships across lines of business, risk partners, and process owners.

Partner with cross-functional teams and second-line risk partners to manage operational/compliance risk.

Influence and collaborate across multiple levels of the organization.

Oversee issues alignment, standardized processes, and timely remediation.

Support the evolution of process management discipline through governance routines and continuous improvement practices.

Champion initiatives that modernize platforms, improve efficiency, and promote standardization.

Enable digital transformation efforts by introducing workflow tools and automation opportunities.

Strategically nurture positive relationships to drive value and build partnerships.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Technology, or related field (MBA or certifications such as PMP, Six Sigma preferred).

5 years of experience in process governance, operational risk, or relationship management roles.

Demonstrated success in driving process improvements and delivering measurable outcomes.

Preferred Skills

Proven experience in relationship management, governance, or operational risk within a large, complex organization.

Strong ability to communicate and influence at an executive level, with exceptional written and verbal skills.

Expertise in process design, control frameworks, and compliance standards.

Strategic thinker with critical problem-solving skills and the ability to balance tactical execution with long-term vision.

Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau); experience with workflow tools (e.g., Jira).
