Position:
Marketing Coordinator (Temporary, Full‑Time 40 hours per week, 6‑11 month appointment)

Work Schedule:
Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

The Department of Athletics supports student‑athletes and enhances campus life through intercollegiate sports and community engagement.
Responsibilities
Support the marketing office in enhancing the fan experience and generating revenue.
Develop and execute marketing plans for sports programs including Baseball, Field Hockey, Gymnastics, Women’s Lacrosse, Women’s Soccer, Softball, Volleyball, and Wrestling.
Increase attendance and revenue through ticket, concession, and merchandise sales at home contests.
Work closely with Go Heels Productions, Tar Heel Sports Properties, event management, facilities, spirit groups, coaches, and sport administrators to coordinate an optimal in‑venue fan experience for Tar Heel fans.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Demonstrated competencies required to perform the work.
Previous experience in collegiate sports marketing is preferred.
