Role Overview The Wholesale Account Executive, Specialty Stores is responsible for managing and growing the specialty retail channel. This role focuses on relationship building, assortment strategy, and creating high‑touch, community‑driven sales opportunities.
Key Responsibilities Account Management & Growth
Manage and grow a portfolio of specialty and independent retailers
Drive sell‑in through tailored assortment recommendations
Monitor sell‑through and provide actionable guidance
Identify and onboard new specialty accounts
Sales, Market & Client Engagement
Represent the brand at market, trade shows, and showroom appointments
Lead account meetings and seasonal sell‑in presentations
Curate assortments by store and region
Track and validate orders post‑market
Develop and execute in‑store events, trunk shows, and client activations
Identify and build relationships with high‑value clients and community connectors
Host and support private in‑home shopping events and intimate client experiences
Order Management & Operations
Own order entry and account communication
Manage orders and reporting in NetSuite
Track open orders and ensure fulfillment
Partner cross‑functionally to resolve issues
Brand & Marketing Alignment
Partner with Marketing on events and launches
Ensure strong brand presentation across accounts
Support gifting and community initiatives
Qualifications
3–5 years of wholesale, retail, or sales experience
Strong relationship‑building and clienteling skills
Experience with events, trunk shows, or activations
Proficient in Excel
Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP systems
Experience attending market
Highly organized and strong communicator
