Organic Social Media Manager
Solomon Page, Spring, TX, United States
Our client, a national real estate company in The Woodlands, TX, is looking for a creative and strategic Organic Social Media Manager with a strong focus on Facebook and Instagram for an ongoing contract. This role requires someone who not only understands platform algorithms and audience engagement but is also comfortable being hands‑on—literally. You’ll help create compelling content, sometimes capturing it yourself using an iPhone or Android, and you’ll work closely with the broader content and brand team to craft sharp, on‑brand copy for daily posts. This is a great opportunity for someone who’s passionate about social storytelling, understands how to build communities online, and isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves and help make content happen.
This is a hybrid ongoing contract position and requires 2‑days/week onsite in The Woodlands.
$50/hr range
Responsibilities
Plan, schedule, and publish organic social content primarily for Facebook and Instagram
Write and edit copy for social posts that align with brand voice and campaign objectives
Capture short‑form, in‑the‑moment photo and video content using a smartphone when needed
Monitor engagement and respond to comments and DMs in a timely and brand‑appropriate manner
Track performance metrics and provide regular insights and recommendations to optimize content
Collaborate with creative, content, and strategy teams to align social efforts with larger marketing campaigns
Stay on top of trends, memes, and platform updates to keep content fresh and relevant
Manage and maintain a content calendar to ensure consistent posting and campaign alignment
Required Qualifications
5–7 years of experience managing organic social media channels, ideally for a consumer‑facing brand
Deep knowledge of Facebook and Instagram content strategy, performance trends, and best practices
Strong copywriting skills with an eye for tone, clarity, and storytelling
Comfortable using a smartphone (iPhone or Android) to capture video and photo content on the go
Familiarity with social scheduling and analytics tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Later, Meta Business Suite)
Highly organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment
Bonus: experience in Canva, CapCut, or other basic design/video editing tools
