What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Lead the implementation of a patient-centric model involving physicians, their staff, clinics, and hospitals
Develop and maintain strategic relationships with Centers of Excellence (COEs), academic institutions, and health systems
Educate healthcare providers on Neurocrine’s resources and support for rare disease patients
Create and execute strategic business plans based on local market conditions and brand objectives
Navigate complex hospital settings to access key stakeholders and ensure effective communication
What is Required (Qualifications)
BS/BA degree AND 8+ years of sales experience in the biotech/pharmaceutical industry, including 5+ years calling on prescribers of specialized products
Proven track record of sales success with quantifiable accomplishments and awards
Experience with business intelligence tools and salesforce automation platforms
Strong understanding of healthcare regulatory environments and market access fundamentals
Valid driver's license and clean driving record required for frequent travel
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Master’s degree or PhD with relevant experience in rare diseases
Prior experience calling on Key Accounts and COEs in academic institutions
Endocrine experience and familiarity with specialty pharmacy distribution models
Previous start-up or market development experience
Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and navigate complex accounts
