What We Are Looking For
Baylor University is seeking a part-time Marketing & Communications Coordinator to support core marketing operations for the Baylor School of Music during a temporary coverage period. This role focuses on performance programs, website and event updates, and recurring communications to ensure accuracy, consistency, and continuity across marketing channels. The position works closely with the Director of Marketing & Communications and student employees to support day-to-day execution. This is an operational, detail-oriented role essential to maintaining established workflows.
This position has an anticipated end date of 7/31/26.
A Bachelors degree and two years of relevant work experience are required. A Bachelors degree and five years of relevant work experience are preferred.
A combination of education and experience will be considered in lieu of the degree requirement.
All applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
What You Will Do
Support the coordination, preparation, and completion of performance programs for Baylor School of Music events
Ensure program materials align with established standards and guidelines, are accurate and complete, and are delivered on schedule
Coordinate with faculty, staff, student workers, and campus partners to facilitate program production, distribution, and archiving
Maintain and update performance and event information on the Baylor School of Music website
Ensure accuracy of dates, times, locations, descriptions, and publishing timelines
Coordinate with scheduling and internal partners to reflect updates or changes promptly and support visibility for priority events as directed
Manage execution of the School of Musics recurring weekly social media content, including scheduled posts and established content series
Utilize existing templates, guidance, and assets to ensure consistency across channels
Coordinate with student employees to gather or deploy visual assets as needed
Provide operational support for ongoing marketing workflows, schedules, and deadlines
Assist with coordination among faculty, student employees, and marketing leadership to ensure deliverables progress smoothly
Monitor timelines, identify gaps or issues, and communicate proactively to support continuity
Perform all other duties as assigned to support Baylors mission
Ability to comply with university policies
Maintain regular and punctual attendance
