Job Description The Graduate Intern for Well‑Being Initiatives will support the planning, implementation, and assessment of programs designed to promote student wellness at Baylor University. This role will focus on fostering a campus culture of holistic well‑being through educational initiatives, outreach efforts, and engagement opportunities for students.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in developing and coordinating wellness programs, workshops, and events for the student body.
Support the Peer Health Educators and Well‑Being Ambassador program, including training, communication, and scheduling.
Help create and distribute educational materials on mental health, substance use prevention, stress management, and other well‑being topics.
Manage communication channels (email, group chats, social media) to engage students and share resources.
Collect and analyze participation data to assess program effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
Collaborate with campus partners to enhance outreach and student engagement in wellness initiatives.
Provide administrative support including scheduling, maintaining records, and preparing reports.
Qualifications
Enrollment in a Public Health graduate program at Baylor.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
Passion for student development, wellness education, and promoting a healthy campus culture.
Experience in event planning, peer education, or student leadership is preferred.
