Role Overview The Social Media Coordinator will own the day‑to‑day execution of Gradient’s consumer‑facing social channels. This role is equal parts content creation, community engagement, and football/soccer conversation. You will be responsible for publishing content, interacting with fans and creators, building relationships, and helping introduce Gradient to new audiences across both traditional and emerging platforms. This role requires strong football (soccer) knowledge, editorial judgment, and the ability to translate analysis into clear, compelling social content. Ideal candidates have a track record of success producing high‑quality, highly engaging content across popular channels including Instagram and TikTok, and have experience growing large, engaged follower bases. A knack for storytelling with data is key to success in this role. Key Responsibilities Social Channel Management Lead daily posting and scheduling across Gradient’s consumer social channels Maintain a consistent voice, tone, and cadence aligned with brand guidelines Monitor performance and adapt content based on engagement trends Community Engagement and Relationship Building Actively engage with followers, creators, journalists, and football communities Work with brand partners, influencers, and content creators on joint content initiatives Build and nurture relationships with relevant accounts and contributors Represent Gradient authentically within football conversations Product and Content Promotion Promote Gradient products, features, and insights in a natural, audience‑first way Translate product updates into compelling social narratives Support launch campaigns with coordinated social execution Content Creation and Editing Edit and write copy for posts, threads, and captions with strong editorial judgment Perform video and graphic editing using existing templates Adapt long‑form analysis into short‑form, platform‑native content New Channel Exploration Help expand Gradient’s presence into new and emerging channels such as TikTok Participate in football‑focused communities such as Reddit and message boards Identify where Gradient can add value rather than simply promote Editorial Support Assist with editing and shaping social‑first editorial content Collaborate with marketing, product, and analysis teams to surface story ideas Ensure accuracy and clarity in all football‑related communication Desired Skills And Experience Strong knowledge of football (especially Europe’s Big 5 Leagues and the MLS) and a genuine interest in the game Ability to clearly and confidently communicate football concepts to a broad audience Experience managing and growing social media accounts, ideally in sports or media Strong writing and editing skills with attention to detail Intermediate video and graphic editing skills, including working from templates Comfortable engaging in online communities and public conversations Organized, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities Nice to Have Experience with Reddit, message boards, or fan‑driven platforms Experience working with influencers and content creators on joint content initiatives Familiarity with football analytics, performance data, or advanced metrics Experience supporting product launches or feature rollouts We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, age, disability, gender identity, marital or veteran status, or any other protected class. #J-18808-Ljbffr
