Internship Overview The Cattle Feeder Marketing Intern’s primary objective will be to learn all aspects of Sandhills products and services, and to focus on new market development within the cattle feeder industry. This position requires prior experience or knowledge in the cattle feeder industry or experience working on a feedlot. Key Responsibilities The intern will contact sellers within the cattle feeder and livestock industries and educate them on our products and services, including how to enter their own information and listing the entries for them. The position is also responsible for handling inbound and outbound customer calls, and email communications. The intern will gather information on shows and meetings in the industry, research the cattle feeder and livestock industries, provide feedback from the industry, and help ensure a proper listing of information on our site. This internship focuses on customer service, sales, and various tasks that assist in implementation. Internship tasks include building solid relationships with industry members, working as a team to ensure the success of the websites and publications, and assuming other duties as assigned. The internship is paid at $20/hour. Internship Flexibility Internships at Sandhills Global can start at any point during the semester.
