The Swine Marketing Intern’s primary objective will be to learn all aspects of Sandhills products and services and focus on new market development within the swine industry. This position requires prior experience or knowledge in the swine industry.
The intern will contact sellers within the swine and livestock industries, educate them on our products and services, and assist them with listing their information on our website. The intern will also handle inbound and outbound customer calls and email communications.
The Intern will gather information on shows and meetings in the industry, conduct research on swine and livestock markets, and provide feedback to improve listings.
In the process of handling these responsibilities, the Intern will build solid relationships with members of the industries we serve. A strong focus on customer service and sales is expected, along with a variety of tasks that assist in implementation.
The Intern must work as a team to help assure the success of the website and publications.
This internship is paid at $20 per hour. Internships can start at any point in the semester—new hires start each week. Pick a start date that works for you.
