Pre-Production Coordinator, Fine Jewelry

Job Description Frank Darling is a female-founded fine jewelry brand making custom engagement rings feel exciting, personal, and refreshingly human. Our modern, sustainability-minded designs have been featured in Vogue, WSJ, Bloomberg, Glossy, and more. We have an immediate, on-site opening for a Pre-Production Coordinator. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented diamond jewelry professional with strong interpersonal skills that thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. Key Duties and Responsibilities Collaborate with sales team to collect design requirements Translate 2D ring sketches into written CAD requirements Review and approve completed CAD models to ensure they meet design guidelines Provide CAD team feedback on models that don’t meet design requirements Operate FormLabs 3D printer and create client-facing 3D prints Requirements and Experience Prior experience in fine jewelry production Excellent written communication skills Ability to view 3d model files and inspect them for accuracy. Familiarity with fine jewelry terminology and design Ability to anticipate manufacturing issues based on 3D models Ability to interpret sketches and ensure they are accurately translated into 3D Experience in Matrix / Rhino 3DM CAD software a plus but not required. Familiarity with fine jewelry construction and tolerances Bench jewelry making experience a plus Job Details $60k-80k based on experience Full Time On-Site Benefits Equity Compensation.
