Position Overview
We are seeking a driven, consultative Business Development Representative to identify, develop, and close new business opportunities across the United States. This role is ideal for a self-motivated sales professional who thrives in a performance-based environment and wants significant upside through a highly competitive commission structure.
The ideal candidate understands technology consulting sales cycles, builds strong executive relationships, and can translate business needs into tailored service offerings.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and develop new client opportunities nationwide
Generate and manage a healthy pipeline through prospecting, networking, and referrals
Conduct discovery meetings to understand client business and technical challenges
Collaborate with technical teams to craft compelling proposals and solutions
Present and negotiate consulting engagements with decision-makersManage the sales process from initial outreach through contract execution
Maintain accurate pipeline forecasting and CRM updates
Meet or exceed revenue and gross margin targets
Qualifications
2+ years of B2B sales experience (technology consulting or IT services preferred)
Proven track record of closing services-based deals
Strong understanding of technology solutions (cloud, cybersecurity, infrastructure, or software services preferred)
Experience selling to mid-market or enterprise clients
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment
Willingness to travel occasionally for client meetings (as needed)
Compensation & Benefits
Compensation
Base Salary: $35,000 per year
Commission
30% commission on gross margin of closed deals up to $2.5MM revenue annually
40% commission on gross margin of closed deals above $2.5MM revenue annually
No cap on earnings
