
Business Development Representative

The Role As a Business Development Representative, you will focus on outbound prospecting, engaging decision-makers, and generating qualified demo opportunities for the sales team. You will work closely with Account Executives and sales leadership to build pipeline and create new business opportunities within the civil and construction ecosystem.
Responsibilities Executing high-volume outbound prospecting through calls, emails, and strategic outreach
Engaging potential clients within civil and construction organizations
Qualifying leads and identifying decision-makers
Booking qualified product demonstrations for the Account Executive team
Maintaining consistent CRM hygiene and activity tracking
Following up persistently with prospects across multiple touchpoints
Collaborating closely with AEs to ensure smooth handover of qualified opportunities
Adapting messaging based on feedback and market response
Contributing to a high-energy, performance-driven sales culture
Ideal Profile You have 1–3 years of experience in a BDR/SDR or outbound sales role
You bring experience from a SaaS company, preferably a smaller or mid-sized software business
You have exposure to construction or civil industries (ideal but not mandatory)
You are comfortable operating in a high-activity outbound environment
You are hungry, competitive, and resilient in the face of rejection
You take direction well, execute quickly, and maintain strong follow-up discipline
You communicate confidently and clearly over the phone
You thrive in startup-style environments rather than large enterprise structures
You are motivated to grow quickly beyond a BDR role
