General Description Hyphen Solutions is seeking a qualified sales business development representative (BDR) for the Builder Solutions Line of Business to find and screen potential customers who could benefit from our products and services. As the first line of communication with a prospect, the ideal BDR has a strong understanding of the sales process and excels at researching leads, starting new relationships, and setting up qualified prospects for Sales to close. The BDR should be a quick learner who has strong communication skills and an ability to showcase our offerings in a compelling way. Every potential customer is an opportunity for boosting top‑line revenue growth, customer acquisition levels, and profitability. The Sales BDR will work closely with the sales team to facilitate Residential Builder ERP, CRM, Scheduling/Supply Chain and Design Visualization software product demonstrations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Work as a member of the Sales team providing new opportunities for Sales. The BDR will research and qualify leads before presenting them to a salesperson, who then completes tasks such as creating and signing contracts. The BDRs will work to meet key performance indicators such as weekly and monthly quotas to measure various metrics, such as the number of emails they send, phone calls they make or meetings they schedule. The day‑to‑day responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to: Analyze customer personas and target audience demographics to generate leads via outbound sales methods Compiling lists of potential leads to contact with information Making cold calls to connect with prospective customers or clients Collaborate with Marketing to understand our messaging, and initiate outbound prospecting efforts through email campaigns, phone calls, and other channels to create interest and generate leads. Use a consultative approach to understand the prospect's needs and position our software solutions accordingly. Collaborating with sales teams to identify and convert prospective customers Attending networking events to build and maintain professional relationships Adjust sales techniques according to interactions and results in the field Utilize Salesforce tools to ensure documentation of all account activities such as calls, emails and marketing outreach campaigns Develop and maintain thorough knowledge of the company and its products and services and identify how our solutions can address prospects business needs Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty as described above satisfactorily. Bachelor’s degree or similar years of sales experience within a similar industry Proven success rate at levels above a BDR’s sales quota Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills Experience with Salesforce or other CRM platform Ability to travel to local and regional locations Experience in working enterprise‑level deals Strong ability to analyze business opportunities effectively Exceptional listening, communication and problem solving skills #J-18808-Ljbffr
