Gas Marketing Credit Analyst

The Gas Marketing Credit Analyst supports the credit operations within a gas marketing environment, ensuring the financial stability of counterparties and maintaining compliance with internal credit policies. You'll play a vital part in evaluating credit risk, issuing financial instruments, and fostering strong internal and external relationships. Responsibilities Assess and recommend credit terms for counterparties in alignment with company policies Manage issuance of letters of credit and guarantees Collaborate with internal departments and external contacts to ensure smooth credit operations Set and monitor credit limits, resolving complex credit issues as needed Generate regular reports outlining credit activities and exposure Mentor junior team members and support departmental projects Requirements Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or accounting 3+ years of experience in an accounting or finance role (5+ years preferred) Proficiency with Microsoft Office and strong PC skills Deep understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis Oil and gas industry experience is a plus Strong organizational skills and a collaborative team mindset What you'd be happy about at JoCo You can be counted on in crucial times, maintaining focus and completing projects efficiently.
