Morcon is a family owned and operated converter of Napkin, Towel, and Tissue products in the Away-From-Home market. We have production facilities in Upstate New York and South Carolina. Our products are distributed nationally and service Janitorial, Food Service, Office Products, Health care, and other High Traffic settings. This position is currently located at 62 Owlkill Road, Eagle Bridge NY but will soon be relocating with our corporate office to Division Street in Saratoga Springs.
POSITION SUMMARY: We are looking for a results-driven Product Marketing Specialist to help drive the go-to-market strategy, positioning, and messaging for our products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams— Product, Sales, Customer Success, and Brand—to ensure alignment and consistency in how we communicate the specifications and value of our products to customers and the market.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Work with manufacturing and product development teams to create, archive and update the specifications for our products
Collaborate with Sales Leadership to understand the product roadmap, use cases, and customer benefits
Work with the VP of Sales and Marketing to create and craft marketing materials that translate product features into customer benefits
Work with VP of Sales and Marketing to successfully integrate Morcon’s product and marketing resources into our customers systems and applications
Develop and refine product positioning and messaging that resonates with customer segments
Assist with content creation for the website, tradeshows, sales meetings, email blasts, and social media platforms
Collect customer insights and feedback to inform future product and marketing initiatives
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Must have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize
Must have the ability to communicate effectively
Strong communication and writing skills with an ability to simplify complex ideas
Must be a team player with ability to handle multiple tasks
Must have knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Must be able to perform well under deadlines
Must be customer-service oriented
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience in B2B marketing
Knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or relevant design software
Understanding of product lifecycle management
Familiarity with SEO and content marketing best practices
