An excellent opportunity to join a rapidly expanding freight brokerage headquartered in the Midwest. We’re seeking a driven transportation sales professional with a proven ability to build and maintain a strong book of business. In this role, you’ll be responsible for driving revenue growth through developing new accounts and nurturing long-term relationships. Success in this position requires persistence, resilience, proactive engagement, and an unwavering commitment to exceeding goals.

Responsibilities

Develops new business accounts, then increases volume and revenue with each account

Designs and executes account sales plans to achieve sales goals

Builds meaningful, sticky relationships with each account

Analyze clients' supply chain, seeking new area of opportunity to expand our service offerings

Actively generates new sales leads and converts them to revenue-generating accounts

Utilizes Salesforce to maintain account and pipeline information

Communicates with the Operations team to ensure execution and performance

Qualifications

2+ Years of freight Brokerage experience
Bachelors degree desired

Strong desire to succeed in a sales / account management role

Excellent multitasker

Ability to handle stressful fast paced environment

Great negotiation skills

Proficient in MS Office applications

Highly organized
