Shop Service Writer

Position Details: Responsible for maintaining an efficient and quality operation of the Shop Oversee Shop personnel and daily operations Organize and prioritize workflow of Shop and Mechanics Schedule required service appointments File and process returns and warranty claims Ensure all equipment and tools are working properly Ensure cleanliness of the Shop, inside and out Ensure all employees are trained properly and follow procedures set forth Provide coaching to employees so they are aware of areas for improvement Monitor inventory levels and replenish supplies as needed Evaluate and document any return job problems and be able to remedy the problem and communicate this to upper management Ensure invoices are turned in daily Keep orderly records Required Skills/Abilities: Experience repairing and maintaining trucks/trailers and heavy equipment, diagnosing abilities Exhibit teamwork skills Good organizational skills Have an understanding of safe job practices Valid driver's license Must maintain flexibility in schedule during the busy season Fleet Includes: Excavating Trucks/Trailers and Equipment Benefits: Health, Dental and Vision insurance with optional Health Savings Account (HSA) USAble supplemental insurances Retirement plan with company match Employer-paid life insurance Vacation time Paid holidays #J-18808-Ljbffr
