IT Business Development Representative (MSP) We are a reputable Cloud and Managed Service provider servicing various SMB clients in the greater Dallas area. We are a one-stop shop for anything IT-related, including business advisory, cloud computing, networking, cybersecurity, helpdesk, workforce solutions, etc.
We currently have a need for an IT Business Development Representative. The role involves finding, developing, and bringing in new MSP Business Accounts by selling solutions that meet clients' IT-related business objectives. The representative will sign these clients up and assist with the transition to the Service Desk team to ensure a smooth handover and foster long-term relationships.
The ideal candidate must have experience selling IT Solutions within a Managed Service Provider environment.
Responsibilities: Sign new Monthly Recurring Revenue (MRR) clients through company sales strategies
Prospect, network, develop, and create relationships with key decision makers to convert into new MRR clients
Identify, research, and prioritize target accounts
Prepare and present proposals
Negotiate and close new business deals
Utilize consultative selling techniques across our full suite of products
Support the Service Team to increase revenue with existing clients
Experience Required: Previous experience working for a Managed Service Provider is REQUIRED
At least 1+ years of IT sales experience selling IT services in the MSP space is preferred
Knowledge of Microsoft technologies such as Windows OS, Azure, O365, Cisco products, Windows Servers, Security solutions, etc.
Benefits: Base salary around $50k-$70k+ commission, with OTE of $150k+
