Designation: Web Designer Mode of Interview: Telephonic followed by face-to-face Locations: Multiple locations - NJ, MA, IL, TX, CA, PA, WA Duration: 6+ years (Contract, with possible extension) on W2 Job Description Design and develop software and system specifications, including high-level and detailed designs for assigned projects. Possess excellent knowledge of software architecture, system issues, and integration/testing. Extensive experience in writing Java-based server-side programming with expertise in Oracle Database and SQL queries. Good communication skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively to understand requirements and resolve issues. Innovative and able to generate new ideas and solutions. Skill Set Requirements Bachelor's Degree with 8+ years of IT development experience covering all phases of SDLC including analysis, design, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation. Strong expertise in Core Java (server side) and CORBA. Expertise with Oracle, PL/SQL, and Stored Procedures. Proficiency with Eclipse IDE, XML, JMS, MQ, and Web services (REST). Experience with Web Server configuration (e.g., Apache), including SSL/TLS setup. Knowledge of Agile methodologies, JIRA, Stash, Git, Jenkins. Experience with security scan tools such as Fortify and security vulnerability mitigation is preferred. Knowledge of telecom domain technologies like GPON/IP/ROADM and protocols such as TL1, SNMP, MPLS is preferred.
