Digital Marketing Intern – Social Media and Website

Location: Falls Church, VA Duration: Seasonal (Fall / Spring / Summer) Minimum Commitment: 3 months, 3 days per week Compensation: Paid Internship About Us Azzad Asset Management is a faith-based registered investment advisory (RIA) firm specializing in halal investing and comprehensive financial planning. Program Overview This Seasonal Internship Program is designed to provide students and recent graduates with broad exposure to the operations of a registered investment advisory firm. Interns will rotate across key functional areas, including Financial Advisory, Marketing, and Client Services, gaining practical experience and insight into how an advisory firm serves clients and operates day to day. This role is well-suited for individuals interested in finance, marketing, or wealth management who are eager to learn in a professional services environment. Key Responsibilities Assist advisors with meeting preparation, research, and follow-up tasks Support financial planning and investment-related projects as appropriate Observe client meetings and internal planning discussions (when permitted) Help organize and maintain client-related documentation and workflows Marketing & Communications Support website content updates and basic maintenance using WordPress Assist with social media content creation, scheduling, and performance tracking Help draft marketing materials, blog posts, and educational content Support video and multimedia projects, including editing short-form content Assist with branding consistency across digital platforms Client Services & Operations Support client onboarding and service processes Assist with data organization, CRM updates, and internal systems Help prepare client communications and reports Support administrative and operational tasks critical to client experience Qualifications Current student or recent graduate in finance, marketing, communications, business, economics, or a related field Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Professional written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines Familiarity with Microsoft Office Experience with WordPress, Canva, or video editing tools is a plus, but not required Interest in financial services, investing, or wealth management What You’ll Gain Exposure to multiple roles within a registered investment advisory firm Hands-on experience in a professional, mission-driven organization Mentorship and learning opportunities with experienced professionals A strong foundation for careers in advisory services, marketing, or operations Please note: Applicants must be a U.S. citizen to be considered.
