POSITION DESCRIPTION
The Operations Analyst provides critical support for Operations and Reporting for DBIA Registered Investment Advisor Separately Managed Accounts and U.S. Fixed Income Trust Local Government Investment Pools. This role reports directly to the Executive Director of RIA Operations.
The fundamental role of this position is to support our endeavor to optimize firmwide operations across both the RIA (Deep Blue Investment Advisors) and the Trust (U.S. Fixed Income Trust). This is an excellent opportunity for solutions‑oriented, driven early career professional to truly expand their experience and knowledge while simultaneously, whether independently or in collaboration with the team, contributing to achieve a cohesive, fully integrated platform focused on continuous improvement to ensure the highest level of operational efficiency and accuracy of information, both internally and externally.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS (including but not limited to:)
REPORTING
Work in collaboration with colleagues and vendors in executing portfolio accounting and performance reporting activities
Client Reporting
Management Reporting
Custody and Trade reconciliation oversight
Investment Policy Statement compliance
Quality Control to ensure achievement of Service Level Agreements
New client onboarding
Adherence to regulatory record retention requirements
OPERATIONS
Trust administration: expense accrual analysis, advisor fee verifications, website oversight
SMA Client billing
Support the Business Analyst with data analysis and workflow optimization
Solutions architecting
Supporting data and software integration initiatives
Data analysis
Additional activities as assigned by management
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, and/or accounting
3 to 5 years’ relevant experience in the financial services area, preferably with experience supporting portfolio accounting, investment operations, and business analysis
Demonstrable understanding of Fintech
Demonstrable knowledge of fixed income
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to interact with people remotely or in person, with a high level of confidence.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
Strong proficiency in mathematics
