Employee Benefits Account Manager Location: Jacksonville, FL (Hybrid – 3 days in office) A well-established insurance brokerage is seeking an experienced Employee Benefits Account Manager to join its growing team in the Jacksonville area. This is a hybrid role requiring in-office presence three days per week, offering a collaborative environment, strong leadership support, and a robust book of business. The Role This position is responsible for managing and servicing a portfolio of employee benefits clients, acting as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in employee benefits, excels at relationship management, and is passionate about delivering high-quality client service. Key Responsibilities Manage day-to-day servicing of employee benefits accounts, including renewals, plan changes, and ongoing client support Serve as the main liaison between clients, carriers, and internal teams Lead annual renewal strategy, including marketing, negotiations, and presentations Ensure accurate and timely processing of enrollments, changes, and compliance-related items Proactively identify opportunities to improve client retention and satisfaction Support producers with client strategy and account growth initiatives Qualifications Proven experience in employee benefits account management within an insurance brokerage environment Strong knowledge of group health, dental, vision, life, and disability plans Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines in a fast-paced setting Active insurance license (or ability to obtain, if required) Compensation & Benefits Six-figure base salary Performance bonuses tied to client retention Comprehensive benefits package Hybrid work schedule (3 days in office) Long-term growth and advancement opportunities This role is ideal for a seasoned employee benefits professional looking for stability, strong compensation, and a client-focused culture without heavy sales pressure.
