Proposal Writer

Base pay range $75,000.00/yr - $90,000.00/yr Vaco is hiring for a Proposal Writer opportunity in Moon Township, PA. Direct Hire, 4 days onsite and 1 day remote. Salary: 75-90,000/yr. The ideal candidate is creative and possesses exemplary writing, organizational, and project management skills. A successful Marketing and Proposal Specialist has leadership qualities and demonstrates a collaborative mindset, exceptional communication skills, organizational skills, and problem-solving ability. The candidate must be a strategic thinker who aggressively seeks new pursuits within the industry and in new markets. The candidate will manage proposal development efforts with responsibilities including but not limited to: Monitoring industry for RFP/RFI responses Collaborate with team to develop strategy and win themes Facilitate kickoff meetings to determine fit and probability of success and to define expectations Identify tasks, assign responsibilities, and develop and manage adherence to proposal schedules Collaborate and suggest proposal process improvements Develop visual and written content for proposals; draft and/or edit proposal narratives as necessary Schedule and facilitate proposal quality/compliance review meetings Develop page layouts and manage proposal documents Communicate and coordinate status with the proposal team Professional Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Journalism, or equivalent combination of education and experience Minimum 4-6 years of experience in the planning, preparation, and development of engineering/construction proposals and qualifications packages for public sector clients Familiarity with the AEC industry and Standard Form 330 Familiarity with various markets including transportation, water and wastewater, rail, power, oil and gas Exceptional writing, editing, and document organization skills Experience with graphic design software #J-18808-Ljbffr
